About Me
As President of Solomon Consulting, LLC and former President of The M.R.S. Companies, a nationally recognized leader in the freight brokerage and freight forwarder business, I have been involved in the transportation industry for over 40 years.
During my transportation career, I have owned and operated a medium-size motor carrier located in the Midwest, as well as having held numerous top-management positions in private industry, public warehousing, third-party logistics services, and trucking. I have been a lecturer with two major universities. I am a graduate of the Memphis State University's Transportation Program, University of Missouri-St. Louis' Management Program, and of Southern Illinois University. I have extremely broad experience in education, training, and in national and international transportation, which particularly qualifies me in the operational consulting, transportation, supply chain, logistics, and third-party arenas.
