Freight Reduction Program

Solomon Consulting offers a complete Freight Reduction Program in which we analyze your current freight costs to determine how much cost reduction we can achieve for your company.

Here is how our program works:

  • You send us 30-90 days of recent freight bills; Solomon Consulting will analyze those freight bills through a software application, at no cost to you – free. If we can guarantee a significant savings of 5%-10% or more, then one of our consultants will come in to your office and present our savings program to the CFO and CEO. If after the presentation of our multifaceted program, your company wishes to go forward, then we will meet with your CFO, CEO and in-house transportation team to outline our plan, answer questions, and to set up the process to move forward as a combined team of your transportation people and our Solomon Consulting group.
  • The current level of freight cost based on our study of your freight bills will be the base line and Solomon Consulting will initiate the freight savings program, at our weekly fee, plus necessary travel expenses to your office (which are always approved in advance) and an agreed-to small percentage of the savings we generate for your company.

In conclusion, with your management, Solomon Consulting will initiate the freight savings program in connection with current transportation/supply chain personnel to insure a smooth transition to the current/expanded supply chain vendors. Your Chief Financial Officer will validate all savings based on the initial study, then once the guaranteed savings are recovered by your company, the agreed to percentage of savings will be paid to Solomon Consulting, based on the full year’s annualized savings.
